About
Evan is excited to bring his commitment to, and experience in, public service to Perry Law. As a Liman Law Fellow, Evan worked at the NAACP’s Office of the General Counsel on civil rights cases related to fair housing, racial discrimination in election law, and novel questions in administrative and employment law before federal courts of all levels. Before joining Perry Law, Evan clerked for Chief Judge Rowan D. Wilson on the New York Court of Appeals.
Evan worked in litigation and in-house at organizations new and old. Before attending law and business school, Evan founded journalism nonprofit Scalawag; as a lawyer, he was one of the first team members of the New York City Public Housing Preservation Trust, a new public authority working closely with NYCHA residents to renovate their homes.
Evan attended Yale Law School, Yale School of Management, and Yale College, where he was a history major focused on the public memory of the September 11th attacks.
