Marc joins Perry Law after nearly 15 years at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut, most recently as Acting United States Attorney. He started as a line prosecutor and went on to serve in a number of supervisory positions, including Deputy Chief of the Appellate Division, Chief of the Criminal Division, First Assistant United States Attorney, and Acting United States Attorney. He personally prosecuted a wide range of federal cases, trying many to jury verdict, and handling the appeals of even more. Most recently, as the head of the office, Marc reviewed and authorized criminal charges, civil investigative demands, and the resolution of criminal and civil matters.
Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Marc was an Arthur Liman Public Interest Fellow and Staff Attorney at Advocates for Children of New York, Inc., worked in private practice representing individuals and companies, and clerked for Judge Kimba M. Wood of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and Judge Dennis Jacobs of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Marc is a graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School.
